“Bubbled” Event Small in Scale, Large in Friendship

After consulting with Dr. Fauci, the Veggy board took the Dr’s advice to limit this years get together, maximum of 6 guys.  Last weekend, Scooter, Freck, Gilly, Travy, Da Big Guy & Wally took 4 different vehicles to Reif’s cabin on Legend Lake, Shawano Wisconsin.  Although not considered a VO championship, Scooter shot 99, Freck 100, Gilly 102, Travy 107, Wally 114 and Taco Lover 122 @ Golden Sands golf course in Cecil, WI.  No pairs event, but a Saturday scramble where Gilly, Freck & Narke were 5 over, while 9 Time, Travy & Wally has just a bit more.  No gaming, No GP’s during the long weekend.  Gilly & Scooter cooked some very tasty steaks & ribs/sausage.  We rode jet skis, and played a lot of Euchre. Cold ones, seltzer, Old Crow and Jameson were also involved.  Da Bears unbelievable comeback victory was a great way to end the weekend.  We definitely missed having other members there, but we plan to all reunite in Sept/Oct 2021.
Although family always comes first, “Life is precious, spend time with friends while you can.”
